1. Safety first! Anything that requires working with electricity can be dangerous if you don’t know what you’re doing. If you feel any confusion or doubt at all, don’t take the risk. Call in a professional.
2. You’ll need to have a dedicated 240-volt line installed for your vehicle, which means you must work with an electrician. You might as well work with us to have everything else done, too.
3. We make it as easy as possible to upgrade later. We’ll be sure that your new line has at least 50 amps of capacity, so even if you choose a 24-amp charging station for now, your line will be able to carry more power if you ever decide to upgrade.
4. We can help you cut through the clutter to choose the right charging station for your needs. There are numerous chargers on the market with many different plugs available. It’s easy to get confused. But we understand electric car chargers very well, so we’ll help you design the right setup.
5. Electric car charging station installation is a relatively new application, and many other electricians don’t understand it yet. We do. You won’t have to worry about educating us, because we already know just what’s required.
